The point you become gluttonous, and hope to get "lucky", is the point you lose all of your money. Seems a little abnormal, but it seems to be real. It seems the only time I ever come away with money is when I do not panic about squandering it. I headed to the the casino last evening with 20 dollarsin my pocket. I couldn’t care any less about blowing it, who cares about 20 dollars? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 in profit in just two hours!
Another time I headed to the casino with my buddy Steve. I took in one hundred dollars that I couldn’t afford to squander. I got hoggish, I got worried, and I ended up wagering too much and squandered it in 32 minutes! The lesson is never bet anymore than you can afford to squander. If you don’t panic about squandering, you have a greater chance of profiting big!
What other ways can you enhance your chances of winning at Roulette besides creating a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Yes, they come up occasionally, but they don’t hit often enough to guarantee a steady profit. Just wager on even bets like black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers e.g. 1st dozen, second 12, 3rd dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay out fairly big.
With the basics reviewed, how else might we further boost our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By turning probability into our ally, as opposed to our mortal enemy. "You can’t be a winner at Roulette", my buddy Ben would say to me. "It is absolutely random because any number might come up". Yes, my friend Mike certainly has a point, although at the same time, he is missing a crucial aspect of the picture. I totally agree, black or red could be landed on 30 times in a row, but how often does that happen?
