The day you become hoggish, and pray to get "lucky", is the point you lose all of your money. Seems a bit absurd, but it seems to be credible. The only time I ever come away with cash is when I don’t worry about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino last evening with twenty dollars. I could not care any less about losing it, who cares about $20? So can you imagine what happened? I left with one hundred and twenty dollars profit in 1 hour!
Another time I was at the casino with my buddy Chris. I took with me $100 that I couldn’t afford to lose. I got greedy, I got terrified, and I ended up wagering too much and losing it in 32 minutes! The lesson is never wager anymore than you can stand to lose. If you do not worry about losing, you have a greater chance of winning big!
What other ways can you increase your chances of winning at Roulette other than making a budget? Never wager on individual numbers! Yes, they come up occasionally, but they don’t hit often enough to guarantee a constant profit. Only bet on even wagers for example red, black, odd, even, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers like first 12, 2nd dozen, 3rd 12, etc Wager on odds that pay out fairly high.
With the basic facts covered, how else can we further increase our odds of winning at Roulette? By making probability into our friend, instead of our enemy. "You can not win at Roulette", my friend Ben would say to me. "It’s absolutely random because any number can come up". Absolutely, my buddy Ben does have a point, however at the same instance, he is missing an important part of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red can be landed on 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
